The Punjab Public Service Commission announced regular 154 posts for Consultant Anesthetist. 118 Posts are for Open Merit, 05 Posts are reserved for Special Persons Quota, 08 Seats reserved for Minority Quota and 23 Seats are reserved from Women Quota. All seats are on Regular Basis.

PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
AS PER SERVICE RULES

MBBS with MS or FCPS in the relevant subject or equivalent qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council.
If none is available with the above qualification, then MBBS with postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution with one year’s practical experience in the field of Anesthesia at a recognized institution before or after post-graduation.

NOTE:

i) In the second category of qualification, post graduate qualification like DA or MCPS in the relevant subject i.e. Anesthesia along with one year practical experience before or after post graduate qualification is required.
ii) Valid (full) Permanent Registration Certificate from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council / Pakistan Medical Commission showing post-graduate qualification, issued on or before the closing date.
